Property 1: The City of Norwalk will accept sealed bids for the purchase from the City of real property located at 53 Newton Street, Norwalk, Ohio, lying between N. Pleasant Street and Carey Place, and containing roughly 2.45 acres, more or less. Said property is zoned MB – manufacturing/business and is subject to environmental covenants.
Property 2: The City of Norwalk will accept sealed bids for the purchase from the City of three (3) parcels of real property lying between East Seminary and Bank Streets in the City of Norwalk, and containing roughly 0.65 acres, in total, more or less. Said property is zoned B-4 – General Business District.
Sealed bids will be accepted on each individual parcel or on all three parcels as a whole and the property will be sold to the highest and best bidder, based upon which bid or combination of bids, individual parcels or all parcels as a whole, is the highest and best bid as determined by the Board of Control in its discretion.
Terms of sale: 1. Payment in full in cash or certified check within thirty (30) days of award of bid. 2. Property shall be conveyed by general warranty deed, subject to easements, restrictions, and rights-of-way of record, and real estate taxes and assessments that are not yet due and payable as of the date of transfer which shall remain a lien on the property. 3. Property is offered for sale and shall be sold in an “as-is” condition without warranty, representation or guarantee of any kind as to the condition of the property or its fitness for use or for any purpose.
