Office of the Law Director 

 

The Office of the Norwalk Law Director serves as the attorney and legal advisor for the City of Norwalk. As such, the Office provides legal advice and representation to the Mayor, City Council, and the various city departments.

The Office prepares legislation, contracts, and agreements on behalf of the City, and represents the City in any litigation brought by or against the City. The Office of the Norwalk Law Director serves as prosecutor in Norwalk Municipal Court, prosecuting cases arising in the cities of Norwalk and Willard, the villages of Monroeville and North Fairfield, and the unincorporated portions of Huron County with the exception of Lyme and Sherman Townships.
